Limitations

  • Password-protected PDFs aren’t supported.
  • Up to 50 MB per file (150 MB total when merging).
  • It edits the finished PDF, not the Word or design file it was made from.
  • Forms, annotations, or signatures may not carry over when pages are copied.
  • Signatures are images (e-signatures), not certificate-based digital signatures.
  • Typed text supports Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Bengali, Devanagari and Arabic.
  • Compression helps most with scanned or image-heavy PDFs.
  • OCR (beta) downloads a language model on first use; your pages stay on your device.

How it works

Trim white margins or cut a page down to just the part you need.

  1. Add one PDF file.
  2. Drag on the page to draw the area to keep.
  3. Choose whether to apply it to all pages or just this one.
  4. Download the cropped PDF.

Questions

Is the cropped area deleted?

No. Cropping hides it in every viewer, but the content is still in the file. To remove sensitive content, use Redact.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Every operation runs locally in your browser using JavaScript (pdf-lib, with page previews from PDF.js). Your documents are never transmitted to us or to any third party, and there are no accounts, watermarks, or file-retention tricks. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tools still work.
